Lucero in Décadas

This sunday Lucero was the main guest star of the most important music show in Latinamerica, Décadas. There she sang her newest single Indispensable, chatted with Adal Ramones about her next projects like the promotion of this album and the Telethon. Then she came back to close the emission by singing Dueña de Tu Amor that the people well recieved because of the soap opera Soy Tu Dueña.

Lucero's Year

Miami, FL Nov 11, 2010. - “I am very happy. Wanting people to like my newest album and all this songs i've wrote. I'm risking on doing a completely different album from the ones before in my career, it's most modern without leaving apart my identity. I'm proud and exclited that people liked it and it's being selled very well”.

With seven weeks at the first places in Billboard's ranking with her album "Indispensable", with the highest rating levels in history with the soap opera "Soy Tu Dueña" in many countries, with the highest audience level in history with the 11th Latin Grammy Award, with the great quote Plácido Domingo mentioned during that broadcast “Lucero! Lucero being with you tonight, you know it fills us with pride and satisfaction. We love you and admire you so very much!” Lucero is right now at the highest point of popularity in her whole career, that's why she correctly affirmed “This has been the best year in my entire career”.

Indispensable is the first album in her career where she is involved in production and all the songs there included, this album is her official return to pop music world after 10 years of not doing a completely new pop album. Because of this incredible project ASCAP hired her as a songwritter and now her musical career is growing for new horizons. The release of her newest videoclip is off the hook because her new look that left attonished the audience and the most rocognized critics. Lucero is now showing off her beauty and elegance, that's why Procter and Gamble re-hired her for the international campaigns for Olay (3rd consecutive year) and Pantene (first year).  Campaigns that will be released in latin market all over the USA, Mexico, Central America, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru. Without any fear on musical evolution, Lucero says the next words of her new album “I wrote all the songs with this mazing group of talented people that also produce it. They have an amazing career in the music world. We planned on doing this album since we recorded the song with Yanni, the duet for his album "Voces". That's how we joined our minds and ideas and they understood what I had in mind for this album. Cesar Lemos and Ric Wake proposed the arrangements and sounds for this album's songs and I just loved them. I like them all, it's amazing to discover new ways to evolve without being settled down in just one place. I'm really glad with this album”.

With 30 years of career Lucero is part of entertainment's culture, she's an icon of Mexico for the mexicans and for the world, after recieving the special award for her career in Premios Oye she said: “Super happy! Thankfull with the life, with God, with the audience for letting me do what I like the most for 30 years and for it to really work! This was an amazing night for me. I have no words to describe all the feelings I have for all the people that have been with me all this years and specially tonight. i'm pleased and very happy!”.
